What is the future of commercial properties with retailers going out of business and outsourcing?
With virtual office, etc, and trend of outsouring, I am hesitant to commit to another 3 year lease for our offices, should I?
Why are you hesitant?
You have to sit down and do some “what if” forecasting and planning for the next three years. The results will tell you if you should commit to your existing space for another three years or abandon the space.
In the event your forecasting is inconclusive keep the space, but get a clause permitting you to sub-let all or any portion of the space included in the new lease.
