What type of consulting work jobs that could be managed as a small business?

I have my MBA and am trying to understand what to do with it. I like research, training and education. I like helping people. My favorite jobs have approved new human resources training and administrative work. I enjoyed the creation of manuals, forms, and politics. I considered becoming a virtual assistant, a teacher, and operate a cleaning business, but I'm looking for a more reasonable idea. 5.9 Do not want to "go to work" work, but I'd spent many hours at home. I will be homeschooling my children, the house is important to me, but I want to get the most out of the MBA! Any ideas would be great. Thanks ……

General consultants are experts in a particular field or practice semi-retired real work environment and take on a coach / role of advisers. As a consultant, some people industry will want to see their credentials to the industry or not hired. a virtual assistant or counselor idea would have more merit than is experienced in an industry specific and then a consultant. Keep in mind that many consultants have to travel a customer site or even some of its customer locations to help with hands in the observation and recommendations.
