How I can be a virtual assistant?

Does anyone know how I could start as a virtual assistant? I am interested in a beginning slow, and I have no hurry to do so, but I want to get into this race, so when you have children (2-3 years) I can work from home and do what I'm fine at. I excel in all and almost all administrative tasks, and almost 7 years. I am in favor of a row of directors and now almost all types of projects and administrative tasks you might think, so I have lots of experience. Basically I want to know if there is a way to move forward with this type of use and do not have to pay $ 3K for some "certified" and that I have the experience to back it up. Ideas / comments / advice? Thanks!

I am also in the same field, thus beginning. Simply suggest choose a couple of administrative tasks started very well and there. you can always add more services as your business grows. If your company does not have the financial resources currently you can always get a certificate when it does at a later date. I'm not certified since I was 10 years. admin. my own experience. Get a website, but only a simple, get business cards and network, network, network! Perhaps certain offices or send information nonprofit organizations, churches, or can join their local chamber of commerce. I suggest you also get this book, Virtual Assistant Series by Diana Ennen and Kelly Poelker. This book helped me to put this business together, step by step gives you a lot about what you need and ideas about services provided by virtual assistants. Hope this helps, good luck.
