Why is my Dell Dimension 3000 running so slowly?
My brother uses a Dell Dimension 3000 and the thing is a turtle (which moves more slowly?). Statistics on the machine is not bad, because I have a machine that has the worst numbers and works better. Hardware Information: – Pentium 4 CPU@2.8GHz — 2 GB of RAM – 80GM HDD IDE – dedicated sound card (try to get whatever it was could board) – WiFi card – Virtual Memory should be more than enough – programs Start is at least one bear – There's nothing wrong / spyware (there are problems in OS greenfield) I am very embarrassed about this machine. It was a pain early on and even Dell replaced the motherboard, once BC of audio problems (another reason is the sound card). Short to get a video card, does anyone, at least, think about what should or should change? I can run Office and Firefox at the time same time. For more information, let me know. Thank you!
